In Genesis Chapter 2, God makes a helper fit for the man, and then brings the woman to the man.

Like so, in God’s perfect timing, He orchestrated the events that brought Sarah to Baskar.

January 2023:

Sarah asked Jesus for her Godly Born Again Husband to arrive at the right time.

Sarah expected this to be in 2 years, however, Jesus orchestration took place, and within 2 months..

Whilst Sarah was on a career break, and had come back from a Biblical trip that Jesus gave her for free, Sarah got bored of being on a career break, and her friend offered her a job at a company she had just started working at in February.

10/03/2023:

Baskar first laid his eyes on Sarah as she was seated in the reception area waiting for her interview.

15/03/2023:

Baskar got an email at work which was introducing Sarah prior to her commencement, and this caught Baskar’s attention as it mentioned Sarah’s hobbies - Church and Bible Study.

23/03/2023:

Baskar was formally introduced to Sarah on her first day, and he already knew she was a Christian, and that she lived 5 minutes around the corner from him. (Sarah prayed for many specific things in the man God gives her, including that he lives around the corner).

Jesus orchestration taking place, and within 5 weeks..

- Baskar & Sarah realised that they are both Sri-Lankan (Jesus knew they both wanted a Sri-Lankan partner but either wouldn't have known unless their colleague said so).

- Baskar asked Sarah what she did over the Easter Long weekend and when Sarah asked the same, Baskar told Sarah he went to Church. Sarah was so excited to hear this.

- Sarah unintentionally overheard Baskar talking about his involvement in Church (Jesus timed when Sarah got up from her desk to walk to the printer just in time to overhear Baskar talking to his colleague about Church).

- Sarah realised Baskar has a Jesus fish on his car which she always wanted (Jesus ensured they live 5 minutes from each other not only because Sarah had prayed for this, but also so Sarah had to drive behind Baskar's car to get home and would see the Jesus fish).

- Sarah realised Baskar carries his Bible in his car (Sarah prayed for many specific things in the man God gives her, including that he always has his Bible on him).

- Baskar & Sarah realised they both only listen to worship music and have Jesus playlists on Spotify.

- Sarah realised Baskar was listening to church sermons in his AirPods during work. (Sarah prayed for many specific things in the man God gives her, including that he listens to sermons in his AirPods while working).

- Baskar strategically tried to get Sarah's contact details by saying he needs to send her a sermon to listen to.

- Many other strategies were implemented by Jesus during this time.

It has always been clear to us that Jesus brought us together.

"Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God" - 1 Peter 1:23

"Whatever you ask in My Name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in My Name, I will do it" - John 14:13 - 14

"And this is the confidence that we have towards Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us" - 1 John 5:14

"Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." – Mark 10:9

We are overjoyed that the He has written our love story, and we can’t wait to begin this new chapter together as Husband and Wife, with Jesus Christ at the Centre of our Marriage.
